Sorry for the long hiatus folks, is everyone gearing up for Boca and the Keys?  I know we’ve been seeing quite a few tower boats come in the past couple of months!  Here are a couple of pics of the New Avenger 24′  with some different but similar towers!  Nice modeling boys, I hope to see some record breaking tarpon this season!  Happy Boating!

Maximum Tower on Jupiter 38′ CC

Jupiter Marine Built this custom off shore fishing machine for Brad Runyan over on the east coast of Florida.  The boat was set up for tournament fishing, Brad the owner and Craig from Jupiter wanted an original tower and we put together a one of kind piece for them.  The tower has a unique design with several custom touches.  The upper station powder coating, the curved bases of the outriggers to match the tower, custom painted control box, the large rod rack, and so on.  The boat itself is loaded with custom lighting, electronics, and rigging from Jupiter Marine.  Look for him on the podium at the next sailfish tournament!

Boston Whaler Console Tower

This is what we call fully loaded! Alan Walker from Lakeland came to us and really wanted to have the absolute best tower he could. We did starting off with our molded console tower hard top and then we used our newly designed control box with molded in navigation lights. The tower has a 2.5” rolled front leg, which was a first for us @ QTT’s. The tower was rigged with the digital Verado controls as well as a second Garmin screen up in the tower control box. The upper station is loaded out with all the best comforts and controls. With all that weight, Alan decided to go with the tower spring.

Jupiter 38 Tower

It took a little over a month to finish but it’s done and turned out better than we could have imagined. This is a new 38 Jupiter center console with cuddy built for Tom Pace from north Florida. He had it built with all the goodies, and you can certainly tell from the pics. Walter made all the fiberglass parts in-house for the tower. The lower hard top is gel coated blue on the bottom to match the hull color for an added custom touch. The fabrication team built the tower using large 2.5” pipe on both front and rear legs to add strength and killer dockside appeal. The steps on the tower were something new to us that was a design idea from Todd Albriecht, at Jupiter Marine. They are by far the best way to climb up and down the tower. When we finished JR & John Holden from Jupiter came up to drive it home. We backed it down QTT’s boat ramp and off they went back down to Palmetto to finish it up for Tom.

Company Truck Gets a Make Over

We took my Dad’s Dodge Ram up to Bobby Styles at Illusions Graphix in Hudson and had him do his magic. All that I gave him was a couple of pictures and they did the rest. Needless to say, we are all really happy with the way it came out! In the past, our company trucks have had some small graphics on the driver and passenger doors but nothing like this. The truck draws a lot more attention than before, that’s a fact. Bobby is an avid boater and also a long time customer of QTT’s. Thanks for the great work to our truck!
